Water Treatment

Centre of emergency medicine tested and practically used Capel filters in field hospitals in Chechen Republic. The filters were used in difficult sanitary-epidemiological conditions where centralised water supplies were disrupted in military conflict. Laboratory tests of filtered water did not detect any Salmonella, E.coli, Pseudotuberculosis, or any other pathogenic microorganisms. Filtered water had a pure natural taste and did not need any additional sanitary treatment (chlorination, distillation, etc.).

These filters are recommended for water purification in field conditions, in areas with adverse sanitary-epidemiological conditions.
