Summary
- Deliver and manage the project as assigned from project leadership team’s program of works.
- Coordinate internal and external resources associated with the delivery of assigned project sites.
- Manage project budget allocation for assigned sites & overall project, including preparation of financial status reports for the leadership team, Executive and Board
- Ensure all relevant technical standards, safety, security & environmental policies and procedures are adhered to Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop resource plans and coordinate all internal and external resources assigned to the project delivery effort for assigned sites
- Investigate and negotiate change proposals with relevant stakeholders
- Ensure optimal management and utilisation of human, physical and financial resources allocated to assigned sites
- Monitor progress of projects to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met
- Direct and coordinate the development of strategies to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented project outcomes and provide advice on remedial action, if required.
- Manage the expenditure of project budget and prepare associated financial summary reports for members of the executive and Board
- Prepare project status reports and other reports required through prescribed project management methodologies
- Monitor, register and coordinate all procurement activity associated with the delivery of the prescribed Program of Works
Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Extensive experience in management development roles within the field of renewable energy rural & remote projects
- Extensive experience in coordinating the delivery of multiple technical project sites
- Extensive experience in project and contract management
- Experience in monitoring the processes and maintaining records for project related contract staff
- Possession of the relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience
