Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic and operational procurement activities to support multiple geographically diverse suppliers.
- Optimising value from supplier relationships through procurement excellence, including reducing risk and managing compliance and governance processes
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders, understanding their needs and consulting with them to build quality procurement strategies aligned to project requirements
- Lead and manage quotation and delivery activities for goods and services related to the project
- Ensure project purchases are made in a timely, flexible, accurate and cost effective way
- Manage and develop strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, dealing with any potential issues and concerns, and attending regular meetings to ensure open communication
- Influencing a wide range of stakeholders and groups to enable best practice procurement within the project
Experience and Skills:
- It is essential that you have had recent experience working on turn key renewable energy projects, focussed on procurement activities such as commercial contracts negotiation, contracts management, risk management, and specifically understanding and engagement of subcontractor services.
- Possession of the relevant tertiary qualification and / or relevant experience

- Computer literacy skills – Microsoft Office / Windows environment
- Ability to coordinate the delivery of multiple tasks
